Tina Mariane Krogh Madsen – thresholds of unconformity
Performance on June 28, 29 and 30, 2026,
all days inclusive, from 12 to 5 pm.
Through site specific investigations and performance interventions embedded in philosophical constellations, artist Tina Mariane Krogh Madsen uncovers what takes place in the meetings between the words on the walls, the movements of the body, the elements of the building and the space outside, driven by an inherent idea of unconformity as a critical practice that considers the complex layers of human agency and nonhuman sourroundings where modes of hestiation become artistic possibilities.
At the thresholds of unconformity, there is a movementtowardsamode ofdeterritorialised differenceby means ofproblematicencounters.Thetemporalunconformity in performanceart is hereintensive, of empty time and affective relations, of scrambled signifiers and minor potentials(Madsen 2026).
Visitors are welcome to participate with their own investigation of unconformity or just be present and observe how the performance unfolds, and since it is a durational performance, it starts at 12 noon and ends for the day at 5 pm, so it is possible to come and go as you see fit within the time frame. The performance evolves over the three days, so each hour and day will be different.
